What do these things have in common?
- a shoe
- a diaper
- a tractor
- an orange
- a frisbee
- a pyrex bowl
- a glove
- a package of baby wipes
As I was nearing the secured entrance to the parking ramp at my work the other day, I realized I didn't have my entry badge handy. After some digging and shuffling through my purse, I pulled over and dumped the contents of the center pouch onto the passenger seat of my car. My purse has three pouches or compartments - one is for papers, receipts, checkbook, stamps, etc. One is for my phone, camera, and car keys, the other is for everything else.
THIS is what was in the everything else pocket...
a shoe, a diaper, a tractor, an orange, a frisbee, a pyrex bowl, a glove, and a package of baby wipes
Oh dear lord, what has happened to me?
The other shoe was in the back seat of my car. The other glove was on the floor in the front of the car. I can't say for sure how long the orange has been in there, nor how long the (dirty) pyrex bowl has been in there. The diaper and wipes I can say for certain were not in there as of last Friday when we found ourselves at a friends' house with a smelly-butted Gavin and no clean diaper. Thank goodness, they're little guy was still in pull-ups and we made do with a pull-up until we got home!
The tractor has been in there since Saturday when I grabbed it on the way out the door to Target, hoping it would help Gavin stay occupied in the cart. The Frisbee was given to me on Monday by a co-worker, to bring home to Gavin and our dog Drake for a toy. As for the shoe and the glove - who knows.
If you're ever in need of an orange, a tractor, a diaper, a frisbee, a shoe, or some pyrex... hey, go ahead and ask - I might actually have one in my purse!
