Sweet Corn Season
I picked the first of the sweet corn tonight - just one paper bag full, enough for dinner tonight and some to send home tomorrow with my Mom. Gavin loved it and wanted his own ear - he didn't want us to cut it off the cob for him so he could eat it with a fork. We gave him a half-ear and he loved it!
There's little better than the freshest just picked sweet corn that you've been waiting all summer for! ...well, maybe the first warm, ripe tomatoes out of the garden!
