I've never really had bedroom curtains. We don't need window coverings for privacy reasons where we live, but I do love the softness they add to a room. I recently hung these inexpensice linen Ikea curtains in our bedroom and although they really don't block any light, they do provide just a tiny amount of privacy, which is sort of nice since this window does face a road, although it's quite a ways away.
More importantly, these curtains provide a sunny, fun place to play on a Saturday morning!
