Last week, someone burglarized the home of a friend of mine. They did a terrible thing, breaking through the window of a door and taking thousands of dollars worth of electronics. The items they stole are all just things, but the worst is the thing they stole that insurance will not cover, that they can't just go buy... their sense of security, of privacy, of home. Amid this sense of loss and amazement that someone would actually do this to them and to their home, they are still able to find some humor in life, to step back and put things into perspective.
My friend's 18-year old son posted this sign on his bedroom door.
In case you can't read it, it says: "Hoodlems, It is in your best interest to stay out of my room."
Makes me laugh out loud!
