Rain, Sunshine, Snow

You may recall just last week I wrote about our ten days of
rain. It did rain for ten days... and then we had two or three days of sunshine.

We spent as much time outside in those three days as we could. We bundled up and went for walks as the sun began to set, just to soak up as much of it as we could.

We walked through the woods...

...and down the road.

Admiring the golden sunshine on the corn fields.

We reveled in that last bit of sunshine peeking through the trees.

Because just a couple of days later, we got this...
(snow on the Honeycrisp Apple tree)

(snow on the climbing rose)

Goodbye Summer! Hello Winter! Fall - sorry to have missed you! Maybe I'll catch you next year!
