Evening Walk

Thank goodness the weather has temporarily turned more spring-like. Today, I couldn't see any snow from my house, the sun was shining, the air was a comfortable 60 degrees. We're a family who loves to be outside. It's tough to spend much time outside with a one-year old when it's 0 degrees, but as soon as it's over 30, we're out there. Two weeks ago, we had another sunshiny day. It was around 40 degrees and the sun was out, the sky was blue. We left work on time instead of working late, so we could take Gavin for a walk. What a beautiful night...

We all bundled up and put Gavin in the sled. We walked West across the fields toward Cliff's parents' house. The sunset was gorgeous reflecting off the snow.
We welcomed the exercise and were warm enough on the way back home to shed our coats and mittens. Of course, pulling a 30-pound little boy in a hefty sled does tend to work your muscles a bit! No complaints here. I'll take a sunny evening walk any day!
