What a Difference a Year Makes

What a Difference a Year Makes

Twelve months... One year... Just one tiny little year. We went from this...

just ONE short year ago, to this...

One year ago today, we didn't know if we were having a girl or a boy. We didn't know when our baby would be born, what he or she would look like, what kind of personality our baby would have, or even if our baby would be healthy. One short year later, we can't imagine life without Gavin. We can't even imagine what it would have been like if we had had a girl instead of our sweet and loving, silly, blond-headed little boy. One year changes life in an unimaginable way.

What will be so different by this time next year? What life-altering changes can we make in the next year? What could life bring us that we cannot even imagine right now?

Here's to the next wonderful year filled with comfort in what we know and what is familiar to us, but challenging and exciting in what is new, adventurous, and unfamiliar to us.

How funny it is that once we have kids time is forever marked as Before kids and After kids.
